5. Principle of neural networks theory (5 hours).
6. Multilayer perceptron networks and examples its application for diagnostic and monitoring (4 hours).
7. Kohonen networks and examples its application for diagnostic and monitoring (4 hours).
8. Support vector machine and examples its application for diagnostic and monitoring (5 hours).
9. The use of fuzzy logic and fuzzy inference systems in decision-making supplies (5 hours).
10. Fuzzy-neural networks and examples its application for diagnostic and monitoring (3 hours).
11. Pattern recognition in tasks of diagnosing the state of diagnostic systems (5 hours).
12. Expert systems and other artificial intelligence methods used in the diagnosis of electromechanical systems (5 hours).
13. Genetic algorithm and their application in different diagnostic task (5 hours).
14. Example of industrial application diagnostics algorithms basing on artificial intelligence methods (5 hours).

The course contains theoretical introduction, laboratory and industrial exercises in the scope of different diagnostics algorithms basing on artificial intelligence methods.

The course is conducted by employees of Cracow University of Technology .The classes are performed in the computer and research laboratory.
